Welcome to the “Goombay Shack”

This is an over-sized villa only 25 yards from one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, according to National Geographic. Goombay Shack, known as the “Shack,” is located in Treasure Cay on the island of Abaco in the Bahamas.

The “Shack” is a four-bedroom villa with a large living area. Enjoy a large meal with many friends or family at the 10 foot long dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with and oven, range and confection/microwave oven. For a relaxing evening, sit down and enjoy a game of cards, backgammon, chess or checkers at the “Shacks” game table. The living area is also equipped with two sofas and many chairs to enjoy a book, conversation or Satellite TV.

If lounging in the sun is your pleasure, we offer one of the world’s most beautiful beaches (be on the beach in less than one minute) or a gorgeous fresh water pool (a two minute walk). If you prefer to stay at the “Shack” for some sun, shade or star gazing, you will enjoy either the “Shacks” front deck or the spacious private deck in the back.

If you are looking for outdoor activities, those are plentiful on Treasure Cay. Treasure Cay offers tennis (free to guests of the “Shack”), golf, bone fishing, deep sea fishing, sailing, boating, diving, shelling, island hopping and a 3 ½ mile beach to walk. The “Shack” comes equipped with two bikes.
