Recreation/Dining/Entertainment

The Treasure Cay Golf Course was designed by Dick Wilson, one of America’s most renowned golf course architects. Wilson has several classic courses consistently ranked in “Golf Digest’s Top 100”. The best known might be the Doral “Blue Monster” in Miami. Treasure Cay’s 6985-yard gem is carved out of the native woodlands and should be called the “Aqua Blue Monster”. A word to the wise…brings lots of golf balls.

The Treasure Cay Tennis Club offers four hard courts and two clay courts. The tennis experience is not complete with just playing a match. You must enjoy one of the Bahamas natural treasures…Ivan Russell (the local tennis pro). Ivan is available for lessons, hitting and conversation. Ivan has taught many young children how to play tennis.

The Treasure Cay Marina offers boat rentals, fishing charters and a ferry to other islands. If you hit the open seas or just enjoy the tranquil setting of this beautiful marina, I suggest stopping off at the “Tipsy Seagull” to share stories of your day and enjoy your favorite libation (Try the “Goombay Smash”).

Treasure Cay dining can be found from the beach to the marina. Breakfast is served at Florence’s Café. Florence’s offers cinnamon rolls, muffins, coffee and juices. The café is located in the middle of town. It is where most people start their day. There are plenty of fish stories being told at Florence’s. If you are looking for a full breakfast in a breathtaking setting, try the “Spinnaker”.
The “Spinnaker” is located at the marina amidst the many boats and yachts.
For lunch you must visit the Coco Bar on the beach. This open-air restaurant offers fritters, burgers, cracked conch, grouper, sandwiches and more. The setting is spectacular. You won't find a view like this in America.
There are a variety of
choices for dinner. The Spinnaker offers an elegant dinner. The Tipsy Seagull and the Coco Bar will offer special theme nights such as a pig roast, BBQ night and the ever popular pizza night.
